
Lauren Stielstra is a HR Generalist at HR Collaborative, where she helps growing organizations build stronger, more people-focused workplaces. Backed by more than eight years of HR experience and a foundation in customer service, she specializes in creating seamless employee experiences that support retention, compliance, and culture.
Before joining HR Collaborative, Lauren supported talent initiatives across West Michigan in roles ranging from Human Resources Specialist to Staffing Coordinator and Technical Recruiter. She’s known for her ability to streamline onboarding, foster cross-functional partnerships, and ensure organizations are positioned to attract and retain top talent—all while keeping people at the center. Her psychology degree from Michigan State University strengthens her empathetic, insight-driven approach to HR.
Based in Grand Haven, Lauren brings a spirit of collaboration and positivity to every project. Outside of work, she’s led youth empowerment programs like Girls on the Run and coordinated fundraising efforts for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Whether she’s partnering with clients or mentoring colleagues, Lauren is committed to making work better—for everyone involved.
